Unfortunately, it hasn't helped. Most likely have to pull out the O1 to address them. But until then, they will be with us. ___end___ Mon Aug 28 19:13:24 GMT 2017 KCOR End Patrol Mon Aug 28 19:13:26 GMT 2017 KCOR Start Calibration script: c:\kcor\mlso-calibration22deg-20150323.ini Mon Aug 28 19:28:44 GMT 2017 KCOR End Calibration Script Mon Aug 28 19:29:01 GMT 2017 KCOR Start Synoptic Patrol Mon Aug 28 19:29:07 GMT 2017 KCOR Start Synoptic Patrol Mon Aug 28 19:29:08 GMT 2017 KCOR End Patrol Mon Aug 28 19:28:53 GMT 2017 CoMP Paused for clouds GENERAL COMMENT BY waters: Mon Aug 28 19:28:19 GMT 2017 Cirrus passing through, instruments idled. ___end___ GENERAL COMMENT BY waters: Mon Aug 28 19:57:10 GMT 2017 While the instruments are idled, Ben is inspecting and cleaning the Kcor O1. ___end___ KCOR COMMENT BY berkey: Mon Aug 28 20:32:29 GMT 2017 Morning inspections and repeated attempts to blow off the O1 didnt remove the bullet holes in the NE. A quick (due to low supplys of optics water on site) cleaning of the KCOr O1 was attempted to remove the source of these holes as well as the general dust around the rest of the lens. Cleaning seemed effective at improve the general cleanlyness of the lens. But I believe we were unable to remove the source of the big hole. This appears to be a small spec of something on the front that didn't respond to alchoal, soap, light pressure with wipers. With replensihed supplies of water I think we might consider (espcially if the image artifacts remain) another washing later in the week. ___end___ GENERAL COMMENT BY waters: Mon Aug 28 20:36:53 GMT 2017 Clouds over head are a little dark, closing the dome just in case. ___end___ GENERAL COMMENT BY waters: Mon Aug 28 22:41:00 GMT 2017 Raining ___end___ GENERAL COMMENT BY waters: Tue Aug 29 01:30:04 GMT 2017 Got a bit of data until about 1928 UT. Then the clouds rolled in and we got about an inch of rain up here today so far.
