Wind is between 13-18mph from the West. I put in the Polarizer and the diffuser to start back up Kcor and it seems to have triggered it. I just took them out of beam and it stopped oscillating. Currently going to look at the balance of the spar. ___end___ GENERAL COMMENT BY waters: Tue Dec 12 02:22:02 GMT 2017 We checked the balance of the RA pointing at start-up, noon, and end of day positions. We did this with all optics in vs all optics out. We ended up adding five pounds to the back of the spar. This seemed to eliminate the oscillation that I was seeing with all optics in in the afternoon position. Granted, the CoMP dewar is not filled, so this may change. We also checked the balance of the dec, which seemed fine. We might have tightened the dec a bit more than what it was at before. ___end___
