For some reason the logger computer is having a problem with its connection to the data computer.  Not sure why but on the first read of the log the computer cached the old version of log so it never saw the changes made on the server.   Added a kudge to the logging software to disconnect/reconnect to the server on every log read which seems to have fixed the issue with reading log file updates; but the GUI feels a lot slower with the kludge appled.
