I tried unplugging and replugging the usb in the computer, I cleaned the usb and usb port on shabar and checked the wires/switches. Normally when you disconnect and reconnect the USB a screen pops up saying that a device was detected but when I replugged it in, it didn't show up. I tried the right usb port but the usb was too loose in it. Plugged it back into the left usb port on the laptop and nothing happened. But after a while a prompt came up saying the usb was corrupt and therefore the computer couldn't see it. I checked the right usb port and jiggled it around and I got it to read the usb for a bit but then it couldn't. Found a port on the back of the laptop and it installed the software to use the usb. After that, it was a matter of getting the shabar.vi to work. After restarting the program, everything seems to be working now. ___end___ Mon May 14 19:07:46 GMT 2018 SGS Alignment complete Mon May 14 22:43:54 GMT 2018 KCOR End Patrol GENERAL OBSERVATORY COMMENT BY waters: Mon May 14 22:47:52 GMT 2018 Clouds have come up from Saddle and look like they might stay awhile. Instruments idled. ___end___ GENERAL OBSERVATORY COMMENT BY waters: Mon May 14 22:52:43 GMT 2018 Taking this time to take another look at the field. ___end___ GENERAL OBSERVATORY COMMENT BY waters: Mon May 14 23:28:13 GMT 2018 Took a look at the field lens and camera 1. Nothing unusual seemed to be a miss with camera on, although the tap was coming up from the Lyot stop. Field lens had some visible dust on it that would not be blown off to the side on the South-Southeast area. This may be the spots we are seeing but it's hard to tell. Did not remove the field lens but since I had the back end cover off, I blew off the back side of the field lens as well. ___end___ GENERAL OBSERVATORY COMMENT BY waters: Mon May 14 23:31:45 GMT 2018 SGS Home Dec is having trouble again. ___end___ ONSITE STAFF: waters
