The goal of this test is to see if the fringes we see in the processed data are related to some solar disk light reflecting off the side of the plate and making it all the way down into the cameras. ___end___ GENERAL COMMENT BY berkey: Thu Jun 20 17:06:03 GMT 2018 PM Blew off Kcor O1 ___end___ Wed Jun 20 17:08:44 GMT 2018 Kcor Focus/alignment program exited Wed Jun 20 17:21:40 GMT 2018 KCOR Start Synoptic Patrol GENERAL COMMENT BY berkey: Wed Jun 20 18:59:23 GMT 2018 Swapped out the USB cable for the shabar. We are going to take a series of calibration sequences first with the new Mc4u code, then no mc4u code running finally a 3rd set with the old mc4u code. ___end___ Wed Jun 20 19:00:39 GMT 2018 KCOR End Patrol Wed Jun 20 19:00:42 GMT 2018 KCOR Start Calibration script: c:\kcor\mlso-calibration22deg-20171025.ini Wed Jun 20 19:16:25 GMT 2018 KCOR End Calibration Script Wed Jun 20 19:16:42 GMT 2018 KCOR Start Synoptic Patrol Wed Jun 20 19:16:43 GMT 2018 KCOR Start Synoptic Patrol Wed Jun 20 19:17:04 GMT 2018 KCOR End Patrol Wed Jun 20 19:17:05 GMT 2018 KCOR Start Calibration script: c:\kcor\mlso-calibration22deg-20171025.ini KCOR COMMENT BY berkey: Wed Jun 20 19:17:16 GMT 2018 Calibration with no mc4u gui ___end___ Wed Jun 20 19:32:28 GMT 2018 KCOR End Calibration Script Wed Jun 20 19:32:45 GMT 2018 KCOR Start Synoptic Patrol Wed Jun 20 19:32:47 GMT 2018 KCOR Start Synoptic Patrol KCOR COMMENT BY berkey: Wed Jun 20 19:33:05 GMT 2018 Calibration now with the old mc4u code ___end___ Wed Jun 20 19:33:14 GMT 2018 KCOR End Patrol Wed Jun 20 19:33:16 GMT 2018 KCOR Start Calibration script: c:\kcor\mlso-calibration22deg-20171025.ini KCOR COMMENT BY berkey: Wed Jun 20 19:34:15 GMT 2018 As of the end of the 19:00-19:16 calibration the calpol was returned back to its nonimal position; which might have some disk light reflection. ___end___ Wed Jun 20 19:48:39 GMT 2018 KCOR End Calibration Script Wed Jun 20 19:48:56 GMT 2018 KCOR Start Synoptic Patrol Wed Jun 20 19:48:57 GMT 2018 KCOR Start Synoptic Patrol Wed Jun 20 20:07:42 GMT 2018 KCOR Start Calibration script: C:\kcor\polarizer-calibration.ini GENERAL COMMENT BY berkey: Wed Jun 20 21:58:22 GMT 2018 Aerosols increasing. ___end___ KCOR COMMENT BY berkey: Wed Jun 20 22:00:36 GMT 2018 Found a bug in the logic I was using to keep track of the kcor calol postion. Updates were happening at a funny rate which caused some of the calpol angles to be wrong in the calibrations. I think I have a solution to the angle problem; but I am waiting until observing is over to test this. ___end___ Wed Jun 20 22:34:59 GMT 2018 KCOR End Patrol Wed Jun 20 23:55:57 GMT 2018 KCOR Start Synoptic Patrol Thu Jun 21 02:25:02 GMT 2018 KCOR End Patrol Thu Jun 21 02:25:12 GMT 2018 KCOR Start Calibration script: c:\kcor\mlso-calibration22deg-20171025.ini KCOR COMMENT BY berkey: Thu Jun 21 02:25:44 GMT 2018 Taking one more set of calibrations duing shutdown to check the mc4u controller bug fix. ___end___ Thu Jun 21 02:40:49 GMT 2018 KCOR End Calibration Script GENERAL COMMENT BY berkey: Thu Jun 21 02:47:28 GMT 2018 Looks like the bug fix corrected the fits head calpol values during the calibrations.
