Today we started out with new Granginer DI water, new spray bottles, liquid liquinox. While I was able to move around some of the residue I was not able to completey remove it from any one location. The results seem similar to pervious cleanings. After the UComp meeting I found that NOAA had the new free and clear dish soap on site. So a cleaning attemped with that soap was tried. The dish soap shows much better results then the liquinox as used. Residue levels are now greatly reduced. There is still a lot more to do, but I think the lens is at a better state, we are running low on DI water. And I am getting mentally exasuted from the process. Going foward we should probally do future washing with the dish soap and order more DI water. ___end___ GENERAL COMMENT BY berkey: Thu Jul 12 02:16:20 GMT 2018 During the O1 blow off before installaltion I broke the compressor nozzle. As far as I can tell there are no more spares on site. ___end___ Thu Jul 12 02:41:06 GMT 2018 Kcor Focus/alignment program exited Thu Jul 12 02:41:55 GMT 2018 Kcor Focus/alignment program exited GENERAL COMMENT BY berkey: Thu Jul 12 02:42:55 GMT 2018 No data today.
