Found a mysterious red plastic cap attached to the regulator that belonged to the bottle and should have been removed when the bottle was unwraped; this made it a bit hard to remove the regulatory to check the other bottle. We checked the first bottle therefore, and found that our regulator was leaking around the pressure gauge. With the wonderful help of Allen, we removed the pressure gauge and wraped some plumbers tape around it to help create a better seal. This helped but since our regulator has a plastic white ring to ceate a seal between bottle and regulator rather than a black rubber one, we still have a small leak around where the bottle meets regulator. Allen and I rotated it a bit to see if that helped and luckily it did. We were able to get a proper read from both bottles, which are currently full. ___end___ GPS COMMENT by MLSO: Thu Feb 27 21:45:07 GMT 2020 Successfully logged in to system Good disk mount GPS software running Last 5 GPS data files are: dataoutiq_2020_053_2145.bin 2147483647 dataoutiq_2020_054_2145.bin 2147483647 dataoutiq_2020_055_2145.bin 2147483647 dataoutiq_2020_056_2145.bin 2147483647 dataoutiq_2020_057_2145.bin 2147483647 ___end___ Fri Feb 28 00:47:52 GMT 2020 KCOR End Patrol Fri Feb 28 00:48:03 GMT 2020 KCOR End Patrol GENERAL COMMENT BY waters: Fri Feb 28 00:48:28 GMT 2020 Clouds passing, Kcor stopped ___end___ Fri Feb 28 01:09:04 GMT 2020 KCOR Start Synoptic Patrol Fri Feb 28 01:12:56 GMT 2020 KCOR End Patrol Fri Feb 28 01:13:04 GMT 2020 KCOR End Patrol Fri Feb 28 01:13:22 GMT 2020 KCOR Start Synoptic Patrol Fri Feb 28 01:16:07 GMT 2020 KCOR End Patrol GENERAL COMMENT BY waters: Fri Feb 28 01:24:37 GMT 2020 Clouds coming from the Northeast look dark and low, closing the dome just in case ___end___ GENERAL COMMENT BY waters: Fri Feb 28 02:25:02 GMT 2020 Sky was bright at start up but mellowed as the day went on, however, the aerosols picked up as well.
