Cumulus clouds are forming over the summit of Maunaloa and are increasing to the South. Altostratus clouds are increasing to the West and it is unlikely that further observing can be accomplished. ___end___ GENERAL COMMENT BY mcotter: Tue Oct 20 01:27:14 GMT 2020 ___end___ GENERAL COMMENT BY mcotter: Tue Oct 20 01:54:11 GMT 2020 High altitude clouds covered most of the sky all day. A small amount of observing was completed over the course of the morning, when the clouds would break up enough to allow for some blue sky to show through. High altitude clouds became thicker and more prevalent in the early afternoon, with brief periods of time when observing could be performed before clouds would reappear and we would need to stop observing. Dome shutter doors and windows closed. ___end___ ONSITE STAFF: berkey, mcotter
