The Kcor images appear to be bright but I am going to let Kcor run in the hope that the sky stays clear enough. ___end___ GENERAL COMMENT BY mcotter: Mon Nov 02 22:28:35 GMT 2020 Readjusted occulter position using smaller Kcor Synoptic Acquisition images. ___end___ GENERAL COMMENT BY mcotter: Mon Nov 02 22:32:17 GMT 2020 Cumulus clouds forming to the North, East and Southeast. ___end___ GENERAL COMMENT BY mcotter: Mon Nov 02 22:43:07 GMT 2020 Thickening cloud coverage; pausing Kcor. ___end___ GENERAL COMMENT BY mcotter: Mon Nov 02 23:06:06 GMT 2020 Dark grey clouds are now covering most of the summit of Maunaloa. Closed dome shutter doors and windows. ___end___ GENERAL COMMENT BY mcotter: Mon Nov 02 23:32:49 GMT 2020 Clouds have thickened. Fog and sprinkles of rain have moved in. ___end___ GENERAL COMMENT BY mcotter: Tue Nov 03 01:04:35 GMT 2020 The morning sky was hazy and had several layers of clouds across the sky.Briefly around 11:30am HST the clouds broke up long enough to observe for a little while. Thick clouds began to form overhead, so I closed the dome shutter doors and windows. An hour or so went by and the skies briefly cleared again so I reopened the dome and was able to observe for a short time. Later thick clouds formed over the entire summit of Maunaloa. I closed the dome shutter doors and window again, and the weather worsened with dense cloud coverage, fog and precipitation. ___end___ ONSITE STAFF: mcotter
