Sky looks clear. Road was frosty between elevation 7,000ft to 8,000ft but clear rest of the way. ___end___ KCOR COMMENT BY lisapg: Fri Feb 05 17:18:32 GMT 2021 KCor temp at 28C, will wait for it to come up to temperature before starting. ___end___ **GENERAL PROBLEM COMMENT BY lisapg** : Fri Feb 05 17:41:25 GMT 2021 SGS not guiding this morning. Voltage reading is at .9996 and the RA is at -2000 and the DEC is at 2000 arcsec. Been moving the Spar off and on the Sun, stopped and started the SGS software. Going to try and rebooting the computer. ___end___ GENERAL COMMENT BY lisapg: Fri Feb 05 17:43:55 GMT 2021 Restarting the software, the voltage and the RA and DEC were exactly where they should be when we're on the Sun. However it immediately went back to the values that I listed in the previous entire. ___end___ GENERAL COMMENT BY lisapg: Fri Feb 05 18:04:55 GMT 2021 Failed to mention that the Spar was not parked and in close loop this morning. Dec had hit its range of travel. An inspection of the wires shows the cable to the silver SGS box has had the pins ripped. ___end___ GENERAL COMMENT BY lisapg: Fri Feb 05 19:44:37 GMT 2021 ___end___ GENERAL COMMENT BY berkey: Fri Feb 05 21:56:21 GMT 2021 Rebuilt the Guider side of SGS cable CD-104b connector with in stock solder lug connectors. Searching the stock it didnt look like we had any crimp on connectors of the style that we build cables in Boulder. Since this isn't the best long term style connector we should either get the tools to rebuild the CD-0104b connector properly out here at MLSO or have a new one built at Boulder and shipped out some time this spring. New cabled tested and seems to be functioning nonimally. ___end___ GENERAL COMMENT BY lisapg: Fri Feb 05 22:10:33 GMT 2021 Closed the dome for incoming low clouds and fog. ___end___ GENERAL COMMENT BY lisapg: Fri Feb 05 22:21:18 GMT 2021 Thank you Ben for coming up. ___end___ GENERAL COMMENT BY lisapg: Fri Feb 05 23:21:26 GMT 2021 The sky is opening up again, waiting for a but of fog to the East of the observatory to dissipate before opening again. ___end___ GENERAL COMMENT BY lisapg: Fri Feb 05 23:38:08 GMT 2021 Opened windows upstairs ___end___ Fri Feb 05 23:39:08 GMT 2021 Kcor Focus/alignment program exited Fri Feb 05 23:40:35 GMT 2021 KCOR Start Synoptic Patrol Sat Feb 06 00:13:09 GMT 2021 KCOR End Patrol Sat Feb 06 00:13:10 GMT 2021 KCOR End Patrol Sat Feb 06 00:17:12 GMT 2021 KCOR Start Synoptic Patrol GENERAL COMMENT BY lisapg: Sat Feb 06 00:17:57 GMT 2021 PM Blew off Kcor Field Lens ___end___ Sat Feb 06 03:23:12 GMT 2021 KCOR End Patrol GENERAL COMMENT BY lisapg: Sat Feb 06 03:29:35 GMT 2021 Afternoon data wasn't too bad, aerosols were noticeable but we were able to get data.
