Sky is a bit bright. SGS Offsets: X(RA) -107, Y(Dec) 40. ___end___ GENERAL COMMENT BY mcotter: Thu Mar 25 18:29:19 GMT 2021 As per Ben's instructions, a test is being run on Ucomp using "Cookbook #1". Altocumulus clouds are increasing dramatically to the east northeast and appear to be moving toward the observatory. The wind is beginning to pick and is becoming gusty, blowing primarily from the west northwest. ___end___ GENERAL COMMENT BY mcotter: Thu Mar 25 21:45:47 GMT 2021 Kcor now stopped. The high altitude clouds are making the Kcor images over saturated. ___end___ WEATHER COMMENT: mcotter: Thu Mar 25 22:05:47 GMT 2021 Skies continue to be covered with wisps of high altitude clouds. Orthographic clouds have formed to the southwest, west and northwest and are moving into the area of the observatory. ___end___ GENERAL COMMENT BY mcotter: Thu Mar 25 22:08:07 GMT 2021 I tried restarting Kcor but the images are still bright. I am shutting down Kcor for now and closing the dome shutter doors and windows as heavier cloud coverage is moving into the area of the observatory. ___end___ GENERAL COMMENT BY mcotter: Fri Mar 26 01:54:36 GMT 2021 Overcast skies have continued since late morning. No additional data taken since morning. ___end___ GENERAL COMMENT BY mcotter: Fri Mar 26 01:56:59 GMT 2021 The mouse for the Kcor and SGS monitors is acting erratic. I ended up unplugging and re-plugging the mouse into a different receptacle and it started working again. ___end___ GENERAL COMMENT BY mcotter: Fri Mar 26 02:02:51 GMT 2021 The dome tracking sensors seem to be off. When I looked at the monitor it appeared that the dome was not keeping pace with the spar, so I manually forwarded the dome opening. It began to get cloudy so I did not begin an adjustment of the sensors at this time. ___end___ ONSITE STAFF: mcotter
