I started Kcor but when I checked the polarization in beam the sequence came out Mid, Dark, Bright, Mid. I tired shutting the program down twice but it still would not correct the polarization. I power cycled the Kcor computer and when it came back up the MC4U dialogue box came up with the following error messages. EPDU-UP2 telenet port open by another process EPDU-UP1 telenet port open by another process EPDU-DOWN teleport open by another process I tried multiple times clearing the error messages but the messages kept popping up. I tried several time power cycling the computer, but nothing worked. I called Ben and he had me power cycle the D-LINK Switch and also power cyle the NEMA control untis in the dome but that did not work either. While following Ben's instructions over the phone he had me verify all the network ports but this did not work either. Ben told me at this point that he would need to de-bug the system himself and we hung up. I continued by verifying all the ethernet port connections and they all seemed to be fine. Though that I could not get the MC4U program to function properly, I was able to get the cover out of the beam so I was going to attempt to run Kcor and see if it would work without the MC4U program but by this time the sky was again covered in clouds . ___end___ WEATHER COMMENT: mcotter: Thu Jun 17 20:51:13 GMT 2021 Cloud coverage has greatly increased and the sky is mostly overcast with darkening clouds. ___end___ GENERAL COMMENT BY mcotter: Thu Jun 17 20:52:14 GMT 2021 The dome shutter doors and windows have been closed at this time in the event of precipitation. ___end___ WEATHER COMMENT: mcotter: Thu Jun 17 21:57:48 GMT 2021 Dense fog with rain and drizzle. ___end___ GENERAL COMMENT BY mcotter: Thu Jun 17 22:10:40 GMT 2021 The day started off with high altitude Cirrocumulus clouds covering the sky. After an hour or so the sky seemed to be bright but it appeared that the clouds had moved out of the viewing area. I tried starting Kcor but the MC4U program crashed and I was unable to get it working. The period of time that the sky seemed to be clear was short and Altocumulus clouds quickly began to form and with in a short period of time the sky was totally overcast. No data today. ___end___ ONSITE STAFF: mcotter
