When attempting to install the new filters this morning I could not access the vacuum interior with the direction they were mounted. I re-mounted them this morning rotating them 90 degrees, making it much easier to install the filters in the vacuums. I also positioned them to make the hose runs much shorter. I let the vacuums run a while before hooking up the hoses to make sure any dust or debris would be filtered out prior to hook up. The top vacuum blows filtered air into the Kcor front chamber (adjacent to the front of the Kcor 01 lens) and into the chamber behind the Kcor 01 lens. The bottom vacuum blows filtered air into the Kcor bottom chamber that contains the detectors. The air intake on the bottom vacuum draws the air in from the chamber below the Kcor Field Lens. After re-mounting the vacuums and installing hoses I re-balanced the spar. I added 15lbs to the spar's west side below the fulcrum and 17 lbs to the spar's upper south side on the small shelf. ___end___ GENERAL COMMENT BY mcotter: Fri Oct 29 03:16:30 GMT 2021 Vacuumed the dome floor and emptied all trash receptacles. ___end___ GENERAL COMMENT BY mcotter: Fri Oct 29 03:37:23 GMT 2021 The sky was overcast with high altitude Cirrus throughout the morning.
