I noticed this earlier in the week but forgot to make a note of it. The program appears to operate normally but the action is not normal. ___end___ Sat Nov 27 17:53:18 GMT 2021 Running UCOMP Cookbook 789_Scan.cbk line 0 Sat Nov 27 17:55:07 GMT 2021 Running UCOMP Cookbook 1074_Scan.cbk line 0 KCOR COMMENT BY mcotter: Sat Nov 27 17:55:25 GMT 2021 Kcor instrument up and running. The sky appeared a bit bright in the Kcor focus routine, and I had to run the focus routine several times, but I finally got a decently shaped parabola and the initial Kcor- Stand Alone Images look acceptable. The tension spring did not appear to be applying enough force upon the control arm to start moving the door downward. I tightened the control arm tension spring by rotating the nuts that are on the eye screw that the spring is affixed to. I operated the lower dome shutter door afterwards and it appeared to operate normally. ___end___ GENERAL COMMENT BY mcotter: Sat Nov 27 23:07:35 GMT 2021 Thought there were some high altitude Cirrus clouds this morning on the horizon and the sky initially appeared a bit bright, the observing images looked good this morning. Just after noon HST the sky became quite bright with aerosols. ___end___ ONSITE STAFF: mcotter
