O1 was moved to try and get a good alignment on both the field lens and modulator iris. It did not seem possible to get a good alignment in both places. I think the field lens might have a small tilt causing the beam to move on the modulator. The O1 was finally bolted into position aligned onto the field lens. Using colored filters it was found that bright ring at the lyot stop on the modulator was 15.5mm and the inner dimmer bright ring was 13mm in diameter. In case this is the new final position of the instrument data was taken with the distortion grid, airforce target and wavelength vs o1 focus tests were preformed. ___end___ GENERAL COMMENT BY berkey: Wed May 12 02:02:36 GMT 2021 PM Washed Kcor O1.
