Now doing distortion testing. In order to fit the distortion grid in the telescope Y assemble needed to be removed. Going forward we should think about cutting the ~1/2" off the edge of the distortion mount so it could be installed with out removing the Y occulter stage. ___end___ Sat Mar 05 19:05:52 GMT 2022 Running UCOMP Cookbook distortion.cbk line 0 Sat Mar 05 19:12:57 GMT 2022 Running UCOMP Cookbook distortion.cbk line 0 Sat Mar 05 19:26:50 GMT 2022 Running UCOMP Cookbook measure-occulter.cbk line 0 Sat Mar 05 19:27:39 GMT 2022 Running UCOMP Cookbook measure-occulter.cbk line 0 Sat Mar 05 19:33:01 GMT 2022 Running UCOMP Cookbook measure-occulter.cbk line 0 Sat Mar 05 19:39:36 GMT 2022 Running UCOMP Cookbook measure-occulter.cbk line 0 Sat Mar 05 19:45:48 GMT 2022 Running UCOMP Cookbook measure-occulter.cbk line 0 Sat Mar 05 21:06:17 GMT 2022 Running UCOMP Cookbook all_wavelenght_coronal_flat.cbk line 0 UCoMP COMMENT BY mcotter: Sat Mar 05 21:09:19 GMT 2022 New ucomp occulter post installed assembly installed in the instrument. This gives a a new occulter X/Y offset. And from initial inspection this has removed the bright spot at the edge of the lyot stop seen during pervious servicing and inspection. ___end___ UCoMP COMMENT BY mcotter: Sat Mar 05 21:21:23 GMT 2022 When installing the new occulter assembly a general visual inspection was done to the interior of the Ucomp instrument box. Upon inspection it was found that the shutter mechanism had a screw that was slightly backed out. The shutter is functioning normally, but the next time we have an opportunity the shutter should have all of it's fasteners checked to ensure they are all tight. ___end___ Sat Mar 05 21:23:49 GMT 2022 KCOR Start Calibration script: c:\kcor\mlso-calibration22deg-20171025.ini Sat Mar 05 21:32:26 GMT 2022 Running UCOMP Cookbook all_wavelenght_coronal_flat.cbk line 0 Sat Mar 05 21:39:05 GMT 2022 KCOR End Calibration Script Sat Mar 05 21:48:14 GMT 2022 Running UCOMP Cookbook all_wavelenght_coronal.cbk line 0 Sat Mar 05 22:16:52 GMT 2022 Running UCOMP Cookbook all_wavelenght_coronal.cbk line 0 Sat Mar 05 22:44:34 GMT 2022 Running UCOMP Cookbook all_wavelenght_coronal.cbk line 17 Sat Mar 05 22:47:07 GMT 2022 Running UCOMP Cookbook all_wavelenght_coronal.cbk line 0 WEATHER COMMENT: mcotter: Sat Mar 05 23:04:17 GMT 2022 The weather continues to be beautiful with clear skies in all directions!
