The image has several very pronounced "Halo" effects that extends approximately .75 radius from the occulter and wraps approximately 2/3's around the image (mostly to the east). While I have observed a slight halo effect previously, I have never noted one this pronounced. The Kcor Synoptic and NRGF images appear to be normal. I thought perhaps it had to do with the focus, so I shut down the Kcor Synoptic program and the Socketcam program and re-ran the Kcor Focus routine. I had to run the auto-focus several times before I obtained a well shaped parabola. I have restarted the Kcor Synoptic program and am waiting for more current images to come up to see if this helped resolve the issue with the NRGF image. ___end___ Tue Mar 08 18:44:30 GMT 2022 Running UCOMP Cookbook all_wavelenght_coronal.cbk line 0 KCOR COMMENT BY mcotter: Tue Mar 08 19:10:10 GMT 2022 It looks like re-running the Kcor Focus routine helped the Kcor Diff image by reducing the intensity of the halo, but there is still some of the "Halo Affect" which is still present. ___end___ Tue Mar 08 19:12:28 GMT 2022 Running UCOMP Cookbook all_wavelenght_coronal_flat.cbk line 0 Tue Mar 08 19:27:44 GMT 2022 Running UCOMP Cookbook waves_1074_1hour.cbk line 0 Tue Mar 08 19:59:27 GMT 2022 UCoMP Paused for clouds WEATHER COMMENT: mcotter: Tue Mar 08 20:01:45 GMT 2022 Bands of high altitude Cirrus clouds are beginning to make their way into the viewing area blowing in from the west. ___end___ GENERAL COMMENT BY mcotter: Tue Mar 08 20:02:25 GMT 2022 Kcor and Ucomp have been paused due to Cirrus clouds in the viewing area. ___end___ WEATHER COMMENT: mcotter: Tue Mar 08 20:31:12 GMT 2022 Bands of high altitude Cirrus clouds are now spread across most of the sky, though there is seemingly blue sky between the bands of Cirrus clouds. I restarted Kcor and tried running the instrument while in the blue area but the sky is much much too bright in these areas to operate the instruments at this time. ___end___ Tue Mar 08 22:00:29 GMT 2022 UCoMP Restarted from pause WEATHER COMMENT: mcotter: Tue Mar 08 22:39:11 GMT 2022 The sky is now completely overcast. ___end___ GENERAL COMMENT BY mcotter: Tue Mar 08 22:39:49 GMT 2022 The dome shutter doors and windows have been closed in the event of precipitation. ___end___ GENERAL COMMENT BY mcotter: Tue Mar 08 22:40:22 GMT 2022 Both Kcor and Ucomp have been stopped due to sky conditions and the dome is closed. ___end___ WEATHER COMMENT: mcotter: Tue Mar 08 23:28:09 GMT 2022 Fog and mist currently making it's way through the science area. ___end___ GENERAL COMMENT BY mcotter: Wed Mar 09 01:33:00 GMT 2022 Emptied all trash containers at observatory. By mid morning the Cirrus moved into the viewing area. By late morning early afternoon the sky was totally overcast with fog, mist and drizzle at times. ___end___ ONSITE STAFF:
