Hazy skies with high altitude Cirrus clouds scattered in patches across the entire sky. The sky is very bright at this time with a thin layer of Cirrostratus clouds covering the sky. ___end___ **KCOR PROBLEM COMMENT BY mcotter** : Tue Aug 09 17:14:24 GMT 2022 When the dome was opened this morning the positive air flow HEPA vacuum that goes to the tube had come off at the vacuum flange during the night. This has happened before so to remedy this from happening again I removed all the old tape that had been holding it in place and drilled and screwed it into place. I then taped over the screw holes and flange seam. ___end___ GENERAL COMMENT BY mcotter: Tue Aug 09 17:15:12 GMT 2022 The window were left closed at this time due to gusty winds from the southeast. ___end___ GENERAL COMMENT BY mcotter: Tue Aug 09 17:15:24 GMT 2022 PM Blew off Kcor Field Lens ___end___ GENERAL COMMENT BY mcotter: Tue Aug 09 17:15:31 GMT 2022 PM Blew off Kcor O1 ___end___ GENERAL COMMENT BY mcotter: Tue Aug 09 17:15:39 GMT 2022 PM Blew off UCoMP O1 ___end___ Tue Aug 09 17:17:47 GMT 2022 Kcor Focus/alignment program exited GENERAL COMMENT BY mcotter: Tue Aug 09 17:19:15 GMT 2022 An attempt was made to run the Kcor focus routine but as noted earlier the sky is much too bright to operate the instruments at this time. ___end___ Tue Aug 09 19:10:41 GMT 2022 Kcor Focus/alignment program exited GENERAL COMMENT BY mcotter: Tue Aug 09 19:41:08 GMT 2022 The Kcor focus routine was run and though the sky is bright a well shaped parabola was obtained. When the Kcor Stand Alone image Acquisition program was started the level 0 Synoptic images were over saturated with light with the brightness emanating from the center. The Kcor instrument is again paused due to poor sky conditions. ___end___ Tue Aug 09 20:21:04 GMT 2022 Running UCOMP Cookbook poor-weather-coronal-with-flats.cbk line 0 Tue Aug 09 20:22:55 GMT 2022 Running UCOMP Cookbook poor-weather-coronal-with-flats.cbk line 1 GENERAL COMMENT BY mcotter: Tue Aug 09 20:22:29 GMT 2022 The sky remains bright but the data looks acceptable.
