By late morning the sky became too bright and high altitude Cirrus clouds blocked any attempt for further observations. ___end___ GENERAL COMMENT BY mcotter: Wed Aug 17 03:35:07 GMT 2022 In the dome we constructed a barrier with canvas painting tarps so that half the dome floor could be resurfaced with the epoxy coating material. Tom finished the first coat on half the floor and we put heaters on in the partitioned area to ensure that it maintained a minimum of 70 deg F throughout the night. We have been monitoring the temperature since he finished at approximately 3:00pm and the temperature with three heaters seems to have stabilized at approximately 83 deg F since 5:00pm and has maintained that temp over the last half hour. ___end___ ONSITE STAFF: berkey, mcotter, Marc S.
