Been talking with Ben and Tom via email and it's a possibility that it is the actual raid controller that has died.

We do not have a spare on the mountain, so UCoMP is down until the part comes in and we can verify whether or not that is the problem.

UCoMP disk array said that disks 5-8 had failed. Tom believes that it's highly likely the raid controller has died but to try switching out one of the 'failed' drives and see if the drive comes back. 

The drives are labeled differently in the computer than on the Arch web manager; I am changing out disk 5 from the computer or disk 6 from the web manager.
