UCoMP filter wheel was giving us trouble again this morning; it seemed to be stuck in an infinite loop attempting multiple retries to make the move.  When looking at the code, I found a race condition related to an uninitialized variable.   In most cases, the variable would current filter wheel position before it was read back, but some of the time (like this morning) the system read it out before it was written to.  A small code fix was made to initialize the value to -1; this seems to fix the crash on an uninitialized variable and the filter wheel now seems to be working as expected.

The online mc4u was pulled out to inspect the jumper settings today.  We found the I/O Jumpers (table 88 in SPiiPlus MC4u hw guide.pdf) were different between the two units, but everything else was identical.
The online units J1, J3, J5, and J7 are open with no connection indicating an external power supply.  And in the spare unit, these jumpers are 2-3, indicating an internal 24V power supply.
After documenting jumper positions, the two units were reassembled (without making any changes), and online MC4u was reinstalled back into the NEMA box.  Testing shows we still have expected control on all motion stages controlled by the Mc4u.
