It is now scheduled to turn on at 4 am and will start heating at 4:10 am. This change included a small update to the Kcor rack power system. The power strip with the manually operated button has been disconnected. The Ecoflow now directly feeds the PS 1 power strip in kcor. This can be fully turned on or off via a script on the raspberry pi computer with shortcuts to turn all plugs on or off via an icon on the wahoo 2 desktop. These shortcuts are named "turn on kcor power strip" and "turn off kcor power strip". To turn on the ILX output remotely we also needed to take the USB control away from kcor and installed it on the PI. A new script was developed to allow kcor to query the temperature of the ILX via a TCP connection instead of directly via usb. The MC4u gui labview code has also been updated with a button below the existing controls to switch between local (usb) and remote TCP read out of the ILX. If/when we move the ILX back on to the KCor machine we will need to toggle this button to go back to the direct connection scheme. ___end___ GENERAL COMMENT BY lisapg: Tue Apr 28 00:10:47 GMT 2026 Unfortunately due to the brightness of the sky at start up, we only got a little bit of data before we had clouds come up from the West. Hope tomorrow is a better day. ___end___ Logger COMMENT BY lisapg: Tue Apr 28 00:11:10 GMT 2026 Log closed ONSITE STAFF: berkey, lisapg ___end___
