Skies: The sky is completely overcast at this time with Cirrus and Cirrostratus clouds stretching across the sky in all directions. The air is very thick and hazy and the inversion layer is gray blue in color and appears located above Haleakala. The wind is from the southwest, cold and gusty.

I have turned off the Kcor computer and the ILX instrument at this time. Based on current sky conditions it is highly unlikely that observations will be made today, but I will continue to closely monitor the sky to see if conditions improve enough for observing.
