After running the Focus routine I manually set the focus to 134.46. Polarization looks good. The sky appears a little bright and aerosols are visible in the different images, but overall the images look good. ___end___ Mon Jun 29 17:20:49 GMT 2026 KCOR Start Synoptic Patrol GENERAL COMMENT BY : Mon Jun 29 17:50:47 GMT 2026 Lowered the network solar planes from a ~45 degree position to a flat position, this appears to have given us at least 2 x the solar production as we saw at 45. We probably should have done this day one. ___end___ Mon Jun 29 18:46:52 GMT 2026 KCOR End Patrol Mon Jun 29 18:46:53 GMT 2026 KCOR Start Calibration script: c:\kcor\mlso-calibration22deg-20171025.ini Mon Jun 29 19:02:08 GMT 2026 KCOR End Calibration Script Mon Jun 29 19:02:25 GMT 2026 KCOR Start Synoptic Patrol Mon Jun 29 19:02:26 GMT 2026 KCOR Start Synoptic Patrol Mon Jun 29 19:32:35 GMT 2026 KCOR Start Synoptic Patrol KCOR COMMENT BY berkey: Mon Jun 29 19:33:06 GMT 2026 kcor hardware changes Swapped the light dump material for the new hexablack structure made by Andrew ___end___ Mon Jun 29 19:50:48 GMT 2026 KCOR End Patrol Mon Jun 29 19:50:49 GMT 2026 KCOR Start Calibration script: c:\kcor\mlso-calibration22deg-20171025.ini Mon Jun 29 20:06:00 GMT 2026 KCOR End Calibration Script Mon Jun 29 20:06:17 GMT 2026 KCOR Start Synoptic Patrol Mon Jun 29 20:06:18 GMT 2026 KCOR Start Synoptic Patrol Weather COMMENT BY berkey: Mon Jun 29 20:22:31 GMT 2026 MLSO Current Weather Timestamp (UTC): 2026-06-29 20:17:00 Temperature : 58.35 deg F Dew Point : 31.16 deg F Pressure : 681.13 mbar Wind Speed : 9.17 mph Wind Direction : 336.9 deg Skies: The sky is clear but there are a lot of aerosols. Last week when the dark shutter was installed it was tested/verified with the mc4u (observer gui) but not the calibration code Both of these two programs made independent calls to the dark shutter program. So during the last 4 days of calibration runs a command was sent out to the Mc4u GUI to command removed hardware; so no changes were made. The confusing part is because the old shutter path was set to in beam the meta-data was also set to in. Then when the Mc4u gui polled the correct uniblitz shutter it was found to be open so the meta was changed back to open after a few seconds ~30 seconds but it could be more or less depending on when the calibration code made its command during the timeout window for checking the shutter (and other hardware) states. ___end___ Mon Jun 29 21:05:44 GMT 2026 KCOR Start Calibration script: C:\kcor\polarizer-calibration.ini Mon Jun 29 21:06:43 GMT 2026 KCOR Start Calibration script: C:\kcor\polarizer-calibration.ini Mon Jun 29 21:07:15 GMT 2026 KCOR Start Calibration script: C:\kcor\mlso-calibration22deg-20171025.ini Mon Jun 29 21:14:36 GMT 2026 KCOR Start Calibration script: C:\kcor\dark-test-20260629.ini Mon Jun 29 21:22:59 GMT 2026 KCOR End Calibration Script Mon Jun 29 21:31:03 GMT 2026 KCOR Start Calibration script: C:\kcor\dark-test-20260629.ini KCOR COMMENT BY berkey: Mon Jun 29 21:37:08 GMT 2026 Kcor realtime software Updated the kcor calibration shutter code to command the new shutter and write the meta data based on feedback from the shutter controller. It now looks like the logic is correct. Looking in some clouds with diffuser in the counts go up and down as I expect with the shutter in and out as commanded by the script. Note with the clouds it is hard to evaluate if the intensity change between diffuser and dark images is the expected value for a good dark. ___end___ Mon Jun 29 21:38:25 GMT 2026 KCOR ABORT Calibration Script KCOR COMMENT BY KCOR: Mon Jun 29 23:15:24 GMT 2026 KCOR file transfer report KCor created 861 .bin files 857 .fts files NOTICE ? 4 .bin file(s) with no matching .fts: 20260629_190539_kcor.bin 20260629_204101_kcor.bin 20260629_212612_kcor.bin 20260629_213823_kcor.bin WARNING 96 fts file(s) found locally that was not transfered dawn ACTION must be taken to copy: 20260629_211303_kcor.fts 20260629_211318_kcor.fts 20260629_211333_kcor.fts 20260629_211348_kcor.fts 20260629_211404_kcor.fts 20260629_211419_kcor.fts 20260629_211434_kcor.fts 20260629_211449_kcor.fts 20260629_211504_kcor.fts 20260629_211519_kcor.fts 20260629_211535_kcor.fts 20260629_211550_kcor.fts 20260629_211605_kcor.fts 20260629_211620_kcor.fts 20260629_211635_kcor.fts 20260629_211650_kcor.fts 20260629_211706_kcor.fts 20260629_211721_kcor.fts 20260629_211736_kcor.fts 20260629_211751_kcor.fts 20260629_211806_kcor.fts 20260629_211821_kcor.fts 20260629_211837_kcor.fts 20260629_211852_kcor.fts 20260629_211907_kcor.fts 20260629_211922_kcor.fts 20260629_211937_kcor.fts 20260629_211952_kcor.fts 20260629_212008_kcor.fts 20260629_212023_kcor.fts 20260629_212038_kcor.fts 20260629_212053_kcor.fts 20260629_212108_kcor.fts 20260629_212123_kcor.fts 20260629_212139_kcor.fts 20260629_212154_kcor.fts 20260629_212209_kcor.fts 20260629_212224_kcor.fts 20260629_212239_kcor.fts 20260629_212255_kcor.fts 20260629_212310_kcor.fts 20260629_212325_kcor.fts 20260629_212340_kcor.fts 20260629_212355_kcor.fts 20260629_212410_kcor.fts 20260629_212426_kcor.fts 20260629_212441_kcor.fts 20260629_212456_kcor.fts 20260629_212511_kcor.fts 20260629_212526_kcor.fts 20260629_212541_kcor.fts 20260629_212557_kcor.fts 20260629_212715_kcor.fts 20260629_212730_kcor.fts 20260629_212745_kcor.fts 20260629_212801_kcor.fts 20260629_212816_kcor.fts 20260629_212831_kcor.fts 20260629_212846_kcor.fts 20260629_212901_kcor.fts 20260629_212916_kcor.fts 20260629_212932_kcor.fts 20260629_212947_kcor.fts 20260629_213002_kcor.fts 20260629_213017_kcor.fts 20260629_213032_kcor.fts 20260629_213047_kcor.fts 20260629_213103_kcor.fts 20260629_213118_kcor.fts 20260629_213133_kcor.fts 20260629_213148_kcor.fts 20260629_213203_kcor.fts 20260629_213218_kcor.fts 20260629_213234_kcor.fts 20260629_213249_kcor.fts 20260629_213304_kcor.fts 20260629_213319_kcor.fts 20260629_213334_kcor.fts 20260629_213349_kcor.fts 20260629_213405_kcor.fts 20260629_213420_kcor.fts 20260629_213435_kcor.fts 20260629_213450_kcor.fts 20260629_213505_kcor.fts 20260629_213520_kcor.fts 20260629_213536_kcor.fts 20260629_213551_kcor.fts 20260629_213606_kcor.fts 20260629_213621_kcor.fts 20260629_213636_kcor.fts 20260629_213651_kcor.fts 20260629_213707_kcor.fts 20260629_213722_kcor.fts 20260629_213737_kcor.fts 20260629_213752_kcor.fts 20260629_213807_kcor.fts ___end___ Logger COMMENT BY berkey: Tue Jun 30 00:44:11 GMT 2026 Log closed ONSITE STAFF: berkey, mcotter ___end___
