Due to this correction there is a slight jump on the corona position in the NRGF images at ___end___ GENERAL COMMENT BY mcotter: Tue Jul 28 19:04:53 GMT 2026 The CME Retraction drop down field was identified as not working when an operator prior to today tried to issue a CME retraction in response to an automated email alert that could not be verified by the operator. Ben found that the error was caused by an error in the code that contained the wrong location for the CME alert data. Thin wisps of Cirrus clouds are scattered around the horizon in all directions, with some few wisps of clouds sporadically passing through the observing area. ___end___ KCOR COMMENT BY mcotter: Tue Jul 28 22:15:00 GMT 2026 Kcor: High thin Cirrostratus clouds have been present for much of the latter morning, but surprisingly the images continued to look relatively good. Infrequently a band of Cirrus cloud would pass through the observing area causing momentary brightness to the images that quickly passed. The Cirrostratus clouds are now increased substantially and covering the observing area. We were getting periodic issues where restarting the mc4u gave an error because it was trying to use a stale handle the hardware.
