Skies: Very heavy rain and localized flooding on the Saddle Road with clouds in the Saddle Valley over 12,000' elevation. The inversion layer is visible on the horizon at just above Hualalai. Gusty winds blowing from the southeast. Clouds on the horizon at various levels in all directions.

I started the Kcor focus routine and manually set the focus at 134.5.

The sky appears very bright at this time, too bright to observe. Though there are no clouds directly in the viewing area there are clouds present just below the Sun on the horizon. I will try running the Kcor observing code again in a little while as the Sun continues to get to a higher level on the horizon.

Due to poor sky conditions the dome has been closed. The Kcor and SGS instruments and computers have been powered down in order to reserve battery power. I have left the ILX energized in the event that sky conditions improve for observations.
