Large patches of Cirrostratus clouds can now be observed to the north, northwest and west. These clouds currently appear still far off, so at least for now will not impede observations. Some of this cloud pattern appears to be part of the Hurricane Lowell storm that originally passed by the south of the Hawaiian Islands. The storm now appears to have taken a more northern track and may again start interfering with the islands.
