All cabling looked ok, but the wheel would not talk to labview or the vendor software. USB cables were reseated a couple of times and the yepkit (inline usb power relay) was removed from the filter wheel USB signal chain to simplify and hopefully address any USB issue. While doing this work the dark shutter was also noticed to be inoperable , this was related to a spelling error in the scheme that decides if it is to be simulated or real hardware. The occulter alignment read out fine. In the observing code we got 1 351 MB dark file followed by a couple 8 KB files. Currently trying to watch the camera code closely but now no errors are seen and we are taking data that at least seems ok. It had been on the raspberry pi as a hack to allow us to turn it on before sunrise.
