Skies: The sky is completely overcast with Cirrostratus clouds with patches of Cirrus clouds scattered across the sky in various areas. The air appears to have a slight haze at lower elevations with the inversion layer visible on the horizon just above Hualalai. Cold steady breeze from the west-southwest.

Skies: The sky has a very heavy layer of Cirrostratus clouds spread across it with large patches of Altocumulus clouds layered across it in different areas. Some unique lenticular shaped clouds are also present in a couple of areas.
The wind has really picked up and is blowing gustily from the west-southwest.

Very poor sky conditions at this time.

Due to worsening sky conditions observations are not taking place; it is highly unlikely any observation will be performed today. 

Additionally, current weather satellite images do not look promising for tomorrow or for the first days of the coming week. 

Very large cloud patterns are currently present over the central Pacific and they are seemingly headed towards the Hawaiian Islands over the next several days.
