While observing solar activity on the NRGF display yesterday I had wanted to adjust the display settings in order to more clearly see the faint activity taking place. I queried Ben on how to make the desired adjustments and Ben sent me instructions on how to adjust the NRGF Brightness and Contrast settings.

The location of the display settings are as follows:
C:\git\mlso-mountain-scripts\mlso-image-animator\mlso_animator-rework.py
Line # 74: Contrast
Line # 75: Brightness

When opening "mlso_animator-rework.py", right click and open with Visual Studio Code. Once the values have been edited save the file and re-launch the NRGF display GUI to see the changes in the display images.

The display values have been changed to the following:
Contrast: 1.4
Brightness: .7

computer changes:
Swapped out the VGA cable that brings the guider video signal down stairs.  Something about the old cable was blocking the guiders computer from setting a screen resolution higher than 1024 x 768  with the new cable we can run the SGS computer at the full resolution of the monitor and see the bottom of the screen.
