Polarization checked good. The Focus range was manually set to 135.53. ___end___ KCOR COMMENT BY : Sun May 24 17:07:30 GMT 2026 Kcor: The synoptic images look a bit bright, but acceptable. ___end___ Sun May 24 18:22:25 GMT 2026 Kcor Focus/alignment program exited KCOR COMMENT BY : Sun May 24 18:25:57 GMT 2026 Kcor: The bottom synoptic image appeared all bright. I put the polarizer in position to check the state and it was out of sequence. I don't know why it jumped out of sequence but I stopped the observing program and re-ran the focus routine. ___end___ Sun May 24 18:27:24 GMT 2026 Kcor Focus/alignment program exited ** KCOR PROBLEM REPORTED BY ** : Sun May 24 19:00:40 GMT 2026 Kcor circular acquisition error: The socket cam got out of sync and it appeared in the Level 0 image as an out of polarization state. This happened from approximately 1749 UT until approximately 1808 UT. The observing code and socket cam code was exited and re-started and this action has resolved the problem. Polarization checked good. ___end___ ** KCOR PROBLEM REPORTED BY ** : Sun May 24 19:10:21 GMT 2026 This morning when I began observing I noticed that the NRGF images were not coming back from the pipeline. I checked to see if data was going out from the MLSO and it was, but it was not being processed and sent back. After further investigation there was a meta data error that indicated that the diffuser was in mid beam. This was not the case, but an error on the MC4U not getting a signal that the diffuser was out of beam. I have cycled the diffuser and it is now showing out of beam on the MC4U. This error was corrected at approximately 1840 UT, so data prior to this time will show this incorrect meta data error. ___end___ Sun May 24 20:07:07 GMT 2026 KCOR Start Calibration script: c:\kcor\mlso-calibration22deg-20171025.ini Sun May 24 20:22:17 GMT 2026 KCOR End Calibration Script Weather COMMENT BY : Sun May 24 21:40:24 GMT 2026 MLO Current Weather Timestamp (UTC): 2026-05-24 21:35:00 Temperature : 54.7 deg F Dew Point : 23.95 deg F Pressure : 679.93 mbar Wind Speed : 11.41 mph Wind Direction : 340.5 deg Skies: Cirrus has moved into the viewing area from the southwest and the sky has become increasingly bright. ___end___ KCOR BY : Sun May 24 21:41:42 GMT 2026 Kcor: The Kcor instrument has been paused due to Cirrus clouds moving into the viewing area and the sky becoming too bright to observe. ___end___ KCOR COMMENT BY : Sun May 24 22:07:52 GMT 2026 Kcor: The sky has cleared in the viewing area and the instrument is observing again. ___end___ Weather COMMENT BY : Sun May 24 22:21:50 GMT 2026 MLO Current Weather Timestamp (UTC): 2026-05-24 22:17:00 Temperature : 53.62 deg F Dew Point : 27.31 deg F Pressure : 679.89 mbar Wind Speed : 12.08 mph Wind Direction : 0.4 deg Skies: The sky has become very bright and it looks like Cirrus clouds have moved back into the viewing area. ___end___ KCOR COMMENT BY : Sun May 24 22:23:39 GMT 2026 The sky has become become very bright and Cirrus has moved back into the viewing area.
