We are wishing to run a calibration this morning with the updated code and the clouds on the horizon are giving us concern that they may move into the viewing area before this can be accomplished. ___end___ Weather COMMENT BY mcotter: Tue Jun 30 17:59:26 GMT 2026 Skies: The sky in the viewing area remains clear and the clouds that we have been watching in the west are moving slowly closer, but they appear to be taking a northeasterly track. We will continue to closely monitor this cloud activity. ___end___ Tue Jun 30 18:06:10 GMT 2026 Report Time: 18:05:18 UTC Image: 20260630_180205_kcor_l2_nrgf.gif Obs time: 18:02:05 CME Front Height: 1.77 Rs (front) CME Front Angle: 281.7 East Wing Angle: 274.7 West Wing Angle: 285.0 Angular Width: 10.3 CME Speed: moderate CME Brightness: faint Confidence: medium Seen in: nrgf Tue Jun 30 18:06:20 GMT 2026 KCOR End Patrol Tue Jun 30 18:06:21 GMT 2026 KCOR Start Calibration script: c:\kcor\mlso-calibration22deg-20171025.ini Tue Jun 30 18:21:28 GMT 2026 KCOR End Calibration Script Tue Jun 30 18:21:45 GMT 2026 KCOR Start Synoptic Patrol Tue Jun 30 18:21:46 GMT 2026 KCOR Start Synoptic Patrol Weather COMMENT BY mcotter: Tue Jun 30 19:27:48 GMT 2026 MLSO Current Weather Timestamp (UTC): 2026-06-30 19:17:00 Temperature : 56.61 deg F Dew Point : 30.84 deg F Pressure : 682.22 mbar Wind Speed : 5.14 mph Wind Direction : 5.0 deg Skies: The sky remains relatively clear with some bands of Cirrostratus clouds on the western-northwestern horizon. These are the clouds that we have been watching since this morning, but so far they have made little progress towards the observatory and have moved mostly towards the north. Aerosols are increasing and are quite noticeable in the Level 0 and NRGF images. ___end___ Weather COMMENT BY mcotter: Tue Jun 30 21:28:47 GMT 2026 MLSO Current Weather Timestamp (UTC): 2026-06-30 21:05:00 Temperature : 56.41 deg F Dew Point : 34.79 deg F Pressure : 682.56 mbar Wind Speed : 8.05 mph Wind Direction : 358.9 deg Skies: The sky remains clear in all directions with some small wisps of clouds on the distant west, north and east horizons.
