There is currently bulldozer work taking place with rock breaking and lava being moved around the site to the northwest of the observatory. But we did land on a good working config. Main issues were screen resolution and lack of keyboard and mouse control at various points. ultimately we landed on temporary solution with a short KVM/VGA extension cable to address the resolution, it seems like some part of the video chain between ucomp and the kvm isn't supporting the higher frequencies. The keyboard/mouse were addressed by plugging the usb connection into the "slow" usb 2.0 ports on the front of the case, this will likely be an issue with Chromag as well. Apparently the higher speed USB 3.) ports attempt to do things that don't play with with the old kvm. It also looks like Windows changed the numbering scheme for some of the COM ports this caused some issues with wrong commands going to the wrong hardware. To do: A little more testing in the morning and some troubleshooting on the data transfers.
