Spent some time fixing the focus GUI with Ben as the index(row) value had reverted back to zero when it should have been set to 512. This value has been set as the default value now and should not change when the GUI is closed.

A bug was found in the Kcor Focus GUI that resulted in the focus position ending up closer to the detector than it should have. For most focus settings this position end up 1.9mm lower (camera) of the fit position.

It looks like this bug was in place for years; probably explains most if not all of the reason the focus procedure tended to return the wrong result requiring the observer to manually set the focus.  A bug fix was applied and the results look correct.
